My name is Marco Jardim and I’m a web designer and front-end developer living in Madeira Island.
What does that mean exactly? Well, I make websites.
I specialized myself in coding HTML/XHTML + CSS layouts for websites, and right now I’m improving my ability to make small scripts with Javascript and the jQuery library. I’m sorry if the previous phrase sounded alien to you.
I’m experienced in working with at least a couple of web publishing platforms, like Wordpress and Joomla, and I’m always interested and curious about learning and working with new ones.
When I’m not coding websites, I’m usually reading, or writing, about usability and accessibility. I hope one day I can develop a website that is fully centered on those, until then, I apply the most I can in the sites I do work with.
When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, playing video games or running. I also have a certain interest in photography. Although I haven’t taken any frame-worthy pictures yet, I really enjoy capturing timeless images and admiring still nature.
